Write for West Coast Carriers
Share Your Transportation Expertise With U.S. Freight Professionals
West Coast Carriers publishes expert articles and operational guides from working professionals in the U.S. transportation industry. We review pitches weekly. U.S.-based professionals with a business email or LinkedIn profile only.
Why Transportation Professionals Choose to Write for Us
West Coast Carriers has operated in the U.S. transportation industry since 2007 with over 5,000 contracted carriers across all 48 states. Our blog reaches freight shippers, logistics managers, supply chain directors, and transportation buyers who read our content to make real operational and sourcing decisions.
Every accepted contributor receives a permanent dofollow link to their website, company, or LinkedIn profile in their published author bio.
Your article reaches shippers, carriers, and logistics professionals actively making operational decisions — not casual readers or general consumers.
Publishing on a licensed U.S. transportation platform operating since 2007 adds a verifiable, professional publication credit to your portfolio or company bio.
We review every pitch and respond within 5 business days — accepted or declined. We do not let submissions sit unanswered.
Who Should Apply
We publish content from working professionals with direct, verifiable experience in the U.S. transportation and supply chain industry. We are actively looking for contributors who match one of these profiles:
Active carriers, fleet operations managers, and dispatch supervisors
Supply chain professionals, procurement specialists, and distribution managers
DOT/FMCSA compliance officers and transportation safety professionals
Transportation attorneys, consultants, and analysts with verifiable credentials
Technology professionals building tools specifically for the U.S. trucking or transportation industry
3PL professionals, warehouse operators, and intermodal specialists
We Do Not Accept Submissions From:
General content writers with no verifiable transportation background — marketing agencies submitting on behalf of unrelated clients — professionals located outside the United States — anyone unable to provide a business email domain or LinkedIn profile to verify their professional identity.
Topics We Publish
We publish any article that genuinely serves freight shippers, carriers, or logistics professionals operating in the United States. If it helps someone make a better operational decision, it fits.
Load management, driver scheduling, fleet maintenance, HOS compliance, carrier safety ratings, dispatch operations, and owner-operator topics.
Cold chain management, reefer maintenance, FDA FSMA compliance, produce and dairy transport, dual-temperature loads, and food-grade trailer standards.
ELD mandates, FMCSA Hours of Service rules, DOT audit preparation, SMS safety scores, hazmat regulations, and drug and alcohol program management.
Shipper best practices, freight cost reduction, capacity planning, modal optimization, warehouse-to-carrier coordination, and peak season management.
TMS platforms, trailer GPS and tracking, fuel management systems, EV and alternative fuel fleets, telematics, load boards, and digital freight tools.
CDL training pathways, driver retention strategies, pay structure models, owner-operator economics, workforce compliance, and industry recruiting trends.
U.S.–Canada freight operations, customs clearance, C-TPAT compliance, CBSA eManifest requirements, In-Bond movements, and cross-border lane operations.
Freight rate trends, spot and contract market analysis, seasonal capacity patterns, ATA data commentary, and regional U.S. market conditions.
What We Will Not Publish
Every article on this blog is editorially selected based on quality and reader relevance. The following are declined without exception.
We screen all submissions. Any article generated or substantially rewritten using an AI tool is rejected immediately and the submitter is permanently excluded from future consideration.
Your article must be 100% original and not live anywhere else on the internet — including your own website, LinkedIn, Medium, or any other platform.
If the primary purpose of your article is to market a product, platform, or service — regardless of how it is framed — it will not be published. We do not accept payment for publication of any kind.
General business, marketing, finance, and technology articles without direct application to U.S. freight and transportation operations are not relevant to our audience.
Our readership, service area, and editorial standards reflect the U.S. transportation market. Non-U.S. perspectives on U.S. regulations, carrier requirements, and market conditions are not accurate for our audience.

No. Every article on the West Coast Carriers blog is editorially selected based on quality and reader relevance alone. We do not accept payment for publication and do not place sponsored content alongside or labeled as editorial content.
Our blog serves U.S. freight shippers, carriers, and logistics buyers. Our content reflects U.S. regulations — FMCSA, DOT, FDA FSMA — and U.S. market conditions. Articles written from a non-U.S. perspective are not accurate or useful for our readership.
Your pitch is stored securely in our system for editorial review. We do not share submissions, contact information, or pitch details with any third parties. Declined pitches are removed from our system after 90 days.
