In many instances, a shipment may be too tall or too heavy for a particular route. The shortest point between the origin and destination may be an "obvious" route, and we make sure that the quoted route has been researched and is compatible with the freight being moved. Often, this will require special permits for each state, sometimes even county permits, and pilot car / escort service.
In addition, some heavy haul shipments require multi-axle equipment or even custom-made components. West Coast Carriers has all the "know-how" to do whatever it takes to move your over-dimensional freight safely. We can also provide pilot cars (escorts) for specialized shipments when required.
