While President Obama has been working on improving the efficiency of cars and light-duty trucks, he also has been working on doing the same for heavy-duty trucks. While we are still waiting for the final approval on the new standards for fuel-efficient vehicles, people in the business still can't help but be excited for the changes in store for 2012. They are estimating this will said some 530 million barrels of oil over the life time of this program. This is exciting news as a consumer and business owner with the saving we will notice when filling up our tanks as well as improving our carbon footprint.
