Conoco Phillips is replacing their 10 inch fuel pipe line under the Clark Fork River. They are making it deeper to avoid problems like the Exxon fuel pipe that broke in July after the flooding of the Yellowstone River. This break spilled about 1,500 barrels of oil into the river. The current pipe is 3-6 feet deep, the new pipe will be 40 feet deep. This project is estimated to finish by April 2013.
