Refrigerated Trucking | Flatbed Trucking

Temperature Controlled Trucking

Refrigerated Trucking is just one of the many services that West Coast Carriers offers. We haul or transport everything from fresh vegetables to fresh or frozen seafood. The key is experience and knowing what temperatures will keep your products fresh and getting them delivered on time. Let’s face it, if your fresh produce is sitting on a truck rather than on the store shelf, you’re losing out on sales. This is why it is so important to hire a company you can trust and one that has the experience needed to get your products to market safety and at the right temperature. We hear many horror stories of carriers that have delivered fresh or frozen products above or below temperature. We understand this has a negative and lasting impression, not to mention the expense on both your customer and with you. We have taken measures to assure the temperature of each trailer is regulated to the specific criteria of each customer prior to loading and is delivered at the same temperature. Our goals are to build long term customer relationships with each of our customers and grow our companies together through continued progress and steady but solid growth. When you need to ship or transport a full truckload or refrigerated ltl shipment and you need a temperature controlled trucking company, think of West Coast Carriers.

National Speed limits increasing

Remember hauling your freight and thinking 65 was fast enough on the interstate. It is such a strange thing to see a speed limit sign that reads speed limit 80. The Utah transportation comittee recomended a bill that would allow an 80 mph speed limit for portions of I-84, I-80 and parts of I-15. Just last year Utah set some of the most agressive speed limits on sections of I-15 after testing it for a period of time. Believe it or not there are more and more states increasing of the speed limit for commercial motor vehicles. Currently New Hampshire legislature is scheudled to have a hearing on this on Feb. 12 wich will increase their speed limit to 75 mph. Last year Texas increased the speed limit on select roads to 85 mph.

Snow Storm in the Northeast

Hello to all our Trucking friends out there. Thought we would send a shout out to our friends in the Northeast this week. Be careful out there, it looks like you guys are getting ready for some nasty weather. Be safe and remember to give each other enough stopping distance between the vehicle in front of you.
Here's to warmer temps and clear roads. Happy Trucking.
